Oklahoma Wine, in Brief

Oklahoma's wineries have grown from a few in the 1990s to dozens across the state, from the Ozark foothills in the east to the wheat country in the west. Most are family farms growing hybrids and a few vinifera that handle the heat and the sudden cold.

The Oklahoma City and Tulsa areas hold the largest clusters, with a scenic group along Route 66.
